UkraineEdCluster strongly condemns attacks on civilian areas in #Ukraine. Nine children were reportedly killed in Kryvyi Rih, while 12 were severely injured on April 5 as Russian missile hit next to the children playing ground. We call to stop the war on children immediately.

In view of transition UkraineEdCluster capacitates education authorities in #Ukraine on #EiE support🤵♀️🎓. "When the war escalated we became volunteers, doctors, cooks but we made everything for education to continue", said one of them, "love for children is a foundation for it"

At the GEC Partner’s Forum Education Cannot Wait talked about reimagining education in the context of the humanitarian reset: ➡️Integrate EiE into sector plans ➡️Reframe education as a platform for community support ➡️Diversify by looking to new and innovative partnerships

🎉A proud moment to share for Education Cluster as our long-term investment in #capacitybuilding of local partners pays off. We have now a more professional and resilient community of LNGOs ready to lead #EIE response in #Ukraine. Thank you Humanitarian Academy and Save the Children in Ukraine
