On a beautiful Virginia morning, the UVA MLAX team helped organize the Special Olympics 10K Road Race. The WLAX and Wrestling teams ran and the men have been helping for almost 30 years now. I did the 2 mi walk segment with Gary Gill, M & E, their buddy Kate and Sonia Lamonica.

Six different goal scorers as U.S. Women's National Team jumps out to a 7-1 lead on the Netherlands after Q1 in the first official box game for the U.S. women. Erin Bakes leads the way with two and had the first goal in program history.

The U.S. Women's National Team team firing on all cylinders in Q2 and takes a 19-1 halftime lead on the Netherlands at the World Lacrosse Box Championship. Erin Bakes (3g, 3a), Melissa Sconone (4g, 1a) and Sam Swart (2g, 3a) leading the way.
