At the EstGIS Annual Conference in Tartu, @antoaasa from our lab presented various ways how to define Estonia’s functional regions. The research is a baseline for the forthcoming national plan Estonia 2050 and funded by the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture.

This week, we met with Merit Tatar (Institute of Baltic Studies) and Kertu Vuks (Tartu City Government) to plan our SUNSET Doctoral Network collaboration, including the secondments of PhD researchers Ahmed Rezk and Michele Donnini, focusing on crisis preparedness and sustainable mobility.
