Welcome Christopher Nauser, M.D., who is joining our division of transplant surgery. He will be dedicating his time toward creating a pancreas transplantation program at Clements University Hospital, which he will serve as the director.

Welcome Matthew Fleming, M.D., who is joining our division of burn, trauma, acute and critical care. His expertise in trauma and public health will serve as a great addition to our team.

Robert Montgomery, M.D., D.Phil., FACS from NYU Langone Health, was our Grand Rounds speaker this morning. He shared his own transplant story with us and discussed challenges of organ supply, highlighting the potential of xenografts in expanding access to transplantation.

Herbert Zeh, M.D., is the Chair of the Department of Surgery, a surgical oncologist and renowned leader in the field of pancreatic diseases. He is committed to making a difference and helping his patients do the best they can do.

Under the direction of Dr. Sitaram Chilakamarry, the rectal cancer program at Clements University Hospital was accredited by the American College of Surgeons. This means that the program meets the highest standards for patient care, including surgery, for rectal cancer.
