Last night we celebrated UTMB’s new Arts in Healing room and unveiled a special recognition for Dr. Charles Mouton. A musician himself, Dr. Mouton has championed music as an outlet for health professionals and students. This portrait honors his support of arts and music at UTMB.

Today we had the tremendous pleasure of hosting the The University of Texas System Medical School Deans’ Meeting. It was a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas and share some of what makes UTMB such a special place. Thank you to the deans and UTS Health Affairs leaders for a terrific visit!
