We understand that our families are concerned about COVID-19 (Coronoavirus). There is no evidence at present that children and young people with diabetes are more at risk of getting COVID-19. However we realise that it is more difficult to manage diabetes when you are unwell.

For anyone following the trial's progress, we've recruited all 72 participants needed and 43 of 45 have completed their week 52 follow up so far. On target to finish Sept 2022 thanks to our amazing sites and the commitment of the participants and their parents
