What a fantastic talk listening to Dr. Niederkrotenthaler and Stan Collins talk about how to understand the impact of irresponsible suicide reporting and the opportunity to partner with media to tell stories of recovery and coping in an authentic way. #AAS21

When reporting on suicide, avoid using a sensationalist approach. Do not include method of suicide or expert opinions. Include how the person lived, things they enjoyed, etc. Suicide in the Media is a good acct to follow to learn how to share/post/report on suicide #AAS21
