This bill, negotiated by Chair Sen. Maria Cantwell and myself with the leadership of the House Transportation & Infrastructure and Science committees, is a bicameral and bipartisan accomplishment.

San Antonio is the seventh largest city in the country. It has a joint base and has enormous numbers of military personnel, yet it does NOT have a direct nonstop flight to Reagan National Airport because of outdated, crony regulations

That's ridiculous. It's time to change that

Fox5 DC ran an online poll yesterday asking area residents about more flights out of DCA. By a 2-1 margin, there was overwhelming support demonstrating yet again that Mark Warner & Tim Kaine are sadly out of touch with where most Virginians are on this issue.
