We support Nigeria’s sector-wide approach to its vaccination program that identified 100 priority high-burden local government areas to focus activities to reach unvaccinated children and strengthen primary healthcare centers through the Health Sector Revitalization Initiative.

To strengthen Nigeria’s immunization efforts and reach unvaccinated children, we are working with the Government of Nigeria to implement immunization activities in high-burden, security-compromised, & hard-to-reach communities in Niger & Zamfara states.

Of the 19 million children worldwide, who are yet to receive any vaccines on the routine immunization schedule, 2.3 million live in Nigeria. We are committed to helping Nigeria reach these children living in communities with access and equity gaps with lifesaving vaccines.
