Pleased to join Senator Gary Peters at a briefing from the European Union Mission in Armenia.  The EUMA has played an important role monitoring the security situation at the Armenian border.  The United States strongly support EUMA’s work and Armenia’s territorial integrity.

Thank you to Syunik governor Robert Ghukasyan for providing an update to me and Senator Gary Peters on his work to support the residents of Syunik region and those seeking to address the dire humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Important milestone was reached this weekend as Armenia completed Patrol Police Service coverage across the entire country. This achievement demonstrates Armenia’s commitment to reform and rule of law, improving the lives of Armenian citizens.

Heard firsthand of trauma and challenges faced by people who fled from Nagorno-Karabakh. We support the Armenian government’s efforts, in close coordination with humanitarian organizations, to help displaced persons and refugees find shelter and comfort in Armenia.

🇦🇲 is open for business! This is the message we heard loud and clear during @USambOAS Mora’s visit to Armenia last week. I met with Ambassador Mora to discuss ways to increase economic ties and investments between the 🇺🇸🇦🇲, and our visiting partners from throughout the Americas.

I was amazed to see the innovation and collaboration between U.S. and Armenian tech firms exhibited at DigiTech24. U.S.- Armenia partnerships in the tech sector drive economic growth and create jobs in both countries.
