We concluded Women’s History Month with an outstanding discussion with former colleague U. S. District Judge Brandy R. McMillion and Michigan State Police Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, Sarah Krebs. They emphasized the importance of commitment and allyship.

USA Dawn N. Ison joined the Detroit hotel and restaurant industry, city and county leaders & law enforcement for a training event to combat human trafficking. Attendees were provided with expert training and guidance on how to identify, prevent, and report human trafficking.

We enjoyed breaking the fast with so many of our Muslim community members, partners, friends, and other faith leaders. Ramadan Mubarak!

A group of Detroit residents attended the 1st One Detroit Public Safety Forum held at Emani’s Barber & Beauty Shop. At the forum community members shared their thoughts on violent crime, and police and community relations.

US Attorney Ison returned to her law school alma mater, Wayne State University, to serve on a Women’s History Month panel-Sisters in Law -Leading the Way. The panel included a broad array of graduate servant leaders.
