We need to end CPT codes, waste of time for physicians. AMA fails physicians because they want to protect the CPT revenue stream.

In order to combat the physician shortage we are going to have to find creative ways to keep physicians practicing. Job sharing seems the only way at this point. Part time work but also part time pay. For some on both sides this is a hard pill to swallow.

Too many so-called “healthcare experts” misunderstand the basics of healthcare economics. Reimbursement isn’t what a physician takes home, it’s revenue to the practice, covering expenses, staff salaries, and operations. Yet, these details are often lost on those who claim to

Until you actually run a practice the reality is hidden. When I started practice our overhead expenses (staff, business insurance, rent, malpractice insurance) was running about 40% of total revenue. When I left that practice 10 years later it was almost 70%. Almost no MD income

@SWassinger67 ACA needs to be amended : Title by title , section by section to stop the shift of TRILLIONs of dollars away from physicians, and away from providing care . Say NO ! To consolidated Care . It’s harming the health of the USA Secretary Kennedy President Donald J. Trump Speaker Mike Johnson Leader John Thune

Agree, Dutch …but I’m going to make a friendly amendment knowing that you’re an ally- Real Doctors are way too mission busy in caring for our patients and too scrutinized to have time to organize as a labor force.

salaryDr I don’t know any speciality or income level that is immune to unhappiness. Happiness depends more on how you view the world and live your life than your speciality or income IMO.

If a physician isn’t allowed to speak freely—what happens to informed consent? What happens when your doctor can’t tell you what they really think—because their license is on the line? That’s not medicine. That’s tyranny.

This is concerning. What is it doing to fetal follicles in mother’s who receive the shot while pregnant. My guess is that it is not good

Few people understand the ramifications of a surgeon’s surgical life expectancy. We don’t start working until our 30s. And most of us can’t operate much past 65. There are a lot of fabulous surgeons here on X—many still early in their careers. I’m firmly mid-career anymore.

Legalizing marijuana, and seeing the absolute explosion of recreational use within the United States (billboards advertising cannabis everywhere in many states) is a huge mistake— and indicative of a culturally and spiritually lost society— where more and more people need drugs
