Earlier this week, SCCJ and VVSRL co-hosted a human trafficking training with OPD’s Special Victims Unit. The training was attended by over 100 law enforcement officers and allied professionals from across the state. Thank you to all who helped make this event a success!

The impact of UNO CPACS continues to spread far beyond campus. On December 12, 2024, NCJR's Dr. Ryan Spohn delivered an insightful presentation on research to the American Jail Association’s Jail Executive Institute (JEI), coordinated by SCCJ's Dr. Mark Foxall.

NCJR’s Dr. Ryan Spohn was selected as chairperson for Nebraska’s Reentry Continuity Advisory Board, which is tasked with enhancing the continuity of reentry services and reentry housing. Congratulations on this appointment!

We are proud to announce that SCCJ's Dr. Tara Richards and Dr. Lane Gillespie have been invited to serve as guest editors for a special issue of "Victims & Offenders" focused on sexual victimization and offending. The issue will be published in June of 2025. Congratulations!
