In just five countries in Central Asia, over 60,000 children live in institutional care. As part of our commitment to change that, my colleagues from UNICEF Europe C.Asia are in Uzbekistan this week with partners and leaders to influence decisions that can help keep families together.

In #Termez, I visited a wonderful alternative early childhood education programme at kindergarten No. 31, supported by UNICEF Uzbekistan & EU in UZBEKISTAN This programme enables 100 children, including those from Afghan families, to access pre-school education.
