کم عمری کی شادی کے خاتمے کی طرف حقیقی پیش رفت کے لئے ہمیں نو عمر لڑکیوں کو اپنی رائے کے اظہار کے لئے پلیٹ فارمز مہیا کرنے چاہیئں۔ ان کے خیالات اور نظریات کو ایسی پالیسیوں میں شامل کرنے کی ضرورت ہے جو ان کی زندگیوں کو متاثر کرتی ہیں۔ کم عمری کی شادی کا خاتمہ ہم سب کی ذمہ داری ہے۔

یونیسف اور اس کے شراکت داروں کا حکومت پاکستان سے مطالبہ ہے کہ شادی کی کم سے کم عمر 18 سال مقرر کی جائے اور اس پر عمل درآمد کے لئے قوانین بنائے جائیں۔ اگر لڑکیوں کو اپنی تعلیم مکمل کرنے دی جائے اور روزگار کے مواقع فراہم کیے جائیں تو نہ صرف ان کے خاندان بلکہ پورے ملک کا فائدہ ہوگا۔

کم عمری کی شادی کی بنیادی وجوہات صنفی امتیاز اور معاشی پسماندگی ہیں۔ کم عمر میں شادی لڑکیوں کی صحت، تعلیم اور آمدنی کے مواقع محدود کرتی ہے اور انہیں اپنی بھرپور صلاحیت کے حصول اور اظہار سے روکتی ہے۔
