The Service launched a new mobile game called 'Cranky Uncle Vaccine Game' to address vaccine misinformation. The game educates the public on tricks used to misinform and disinform people and aims to equip individuals with knowledge to make informed choices.

Did you know that the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), have reported that almost 22,000 reports of child sexual abuse material that were accessed, shared, or produced were from Ghana in 2022?

#EPI for 50 years has saved millions of lives including children from preventable diseases.

Today, with UNICEF support, Ghana Health Service has launched the African Vaccination/Child Health Promotion Week to promote free child health services.

Recognizing this year's Earth Day theme 'planet v plastics,' we are pleased to spotlight the efforts of alumni startups Trashsmart and Elnak Recycle. These ventures are committed to combatting waste pollution, contributing to the well-being of our planet, and advancing the SDGs.

To prevent & control infection in health institutions, UNICEF supported the Ejisu & Onwe hospitals in the Ashanti region with WASH facilities.

As part of the visit, we passed through these hospitals to see how the facilities are serving the needs of clients & health workers.

Ending our field trip to communities in the Ashanti R. on a high note. We visited KNUST to explore collaboration with academia to research issues affecting children. The team met the VC of KNUST, Prof Akosua Dickson, Provost of Eng. Dept, Prof K.B. Nyarko & other faculty members
