UNICEF China is proud of our partnership with CIDCA which has helped children in 20 countries around the world on issues ranging from newborn health, to malnutrition, to humanitarian response.

Devastating floods have reportedly killed 32 people and injured 44 across Afghanistan, including children. 1,200 families have lost their homes.

UNICEF Afghanistan is on the ground to provide emergency assistance to the families affected, including fresh water, first aid & hygiene kits.

#Iceland 🇮🇸 is a member of the #UNICEF Executive Board in 2024 and UNICEF is one of the priority multilateral development organisations with which Iceland has a framework agreement. I thank UNICEF China for the annual briefing on its important work and future key priorities.
