GRC-CatchmentScience is like fight club, no photos…..but feeling inspired after representing UNH Water Quality Analysis Lab at the conference and networking/making science friends 🤯There is a (+)correlation between catchment hydro-biogeochem scientists and ice cream! Can’t wait for #GRC 2025

Scientific research, whether conducted in the field and laboratory, or using computational approaches, inevitably has an environmental impact through fossil fuel emissions, energy consumption, and the use of computing and data storage facilities Solutions ~>

We used data from the Lamprey River watershed here in New Hampshire to evaluate whether the often used power law is the best model for weekly vs. high frequency CQ data and whether parameterizing for storage-discharge relationships improves the model! check out our new paper!!

Congrats to Deni on her WRR paper looking at wet deposition-stream N synchrony over 17 years of data in the Lamprey River. Spoiler: wet deposition magnifies assimilation and mineralization in the watershed but is not a main driver of river N. doi.org/10.1029/2023WR…
