UNHCR Poland received a delegation from UNIQLO Europe.
The delegation visited our cash enrolment centre, a UNHCR-UNICEF ‘Blue Dot’ safe space, & met with refugees from 🇺🇦 to hear first-hand their stories & challenges.

With UNIQLO UK, we met with Galyna and Volodymyr, a couple who fled from 🇺🇦 to 🇵🇱 after their farm was ravaged by conflict. “We were hiding in a cellar for weeks, with little food or water. When the shelling stopped, we escaped, leaving behind everything that we had worked for.”

UNIQLO delegation also visited UNHCR’s warehouse in Rzeszow, southeast of Poland, the Blue Dot at Medyka border crossing where newly arrived refugees receive first orientation and help, and concluded their second day with a visit to a transit accommodation centre in Przemyśl.
