UNESCO’s new Representative a.i. to Iraq, Dr. Alexandros Makarigakis, met with Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities of Iraq. The meeting reaffirmed UNESCO’s commitment to strengthening cooperation in safeguarding Iraq’s rich cultural heritage.

UNESCO’s Rep a.i. to Iraq, Dr. Alexandros Makarigakis, met with Iraq’s NATCOM chaired by Minister of Education Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jubouri. They discussed boosting cooperation in education, culture, sciences, heritage protection & sustainability for Iraq’s sustainable future.
