Acute shortages of water are a daily reality for many in Sudan. Ensuring access to clean water for the people in Sudan requires immediate action & the expertise to deliver at scale. UN Development provides 13M liters of water from 28 solarized water yards per day, reaching 850K people.

The Arba'at Dam collapse in Eastern Sudan has destroyed 20 villages, impacting thousands & causing significant loss of life. Our Res Rep Luca Renda visited the site w/ partners to assess the damage & plan for recovery. We remain committed to sustainable recovery at every step.
Amid the ongoing conflict in Sudan, farmers are facing devastating challenges: crops are left unattended, fields are abandoned, and food security is further jeopardized. Last month, UN Development kicked off support to 650 farmers with agricultural mechanization of 3,200 feddans of land.
