We are celebrating Dr. Ann Carver for #WinningWomenWednesday. A professor of English at UNC Charlotte, Dr. Carver led a campaign to establish a concentration in Women’s Studies & became the first coordinator of the Women’s Studies Program in 1984. #CltHistory #WomensHistoryMonth

We are honoring Dr. Mary T. Harper for today’s #WinningWomenWednesday. Dr. Harper was a Professor emerita of English at UNC Charlotte and helped develop Africana_uncc. In 1974, she and Dr. Bertha Maxwell-Roddey co-founded the Harvey B. Gantt Center. #CltHistory #WomensHistoryMonth
