Thanksgiving has always been a special time for the Biden family. And while I know this isn’t the way many of us hoped to spend the holiday, the small act of staying home is a gift to our fellow Americans.

Happy #Thanksgiving y’all! This year we are thankful for all the frontline workers, including nurses, delivery drivers, grocery store workers, and anyone else who is working to keep us safe. We owe you everything.

Sadly, the Republican Party has turned its back on democracy and evolved into an authoritarian party – suppressing the vote, pushing big lies and conspiracy theories. Too many Americans have fought and died to defend our democratic way of life. We cannot and will not fail them.
