Drum roll please... #GEDI was successfully reinstalled into its original location on the #ISS last night! 🛰️ GPS powered on and heaters warming up. System detector tests are underway, but lasers will not be fired until late this week or early next week. Stay tuned!

Taking a rare break out of 13-hour driving days in Brazil. Collecting field data over a probability sample across a country is a daunting task, but field data are extremely valuable for validating remote sensing-based crop maps. Waiting for the ferry to start to cross Rio Grande.
