On 5 June, Dr Susan Leahy hosted the 'Thesis in Three' competition for PhD members of the All-Ireland Network on Sexual Violence Research (AINSVR). Est. by Dr Leahy & Dr Eithne Dowds, AINSVR brings together those working in the area of sexual violence in Ireland & Northern Ireland.
Stable Lives Safer Streets Hub met with members of the North-South Research Programme team and UL Research on campus in University Of Limerick for a site visit. It was lovely to meet with the team from HEA and a great opportunity to showcase the great work being undertaken here SLSSHub.

Recently Dr Dr Laura Cahillane spoke at an event marking the signing of a memorandum between the Northern Ireland Judicial Studies Board & Queen's University Belfast 🎓 to create a Judicial College for Northern Ireland. Dr Cahillane spoke about judicial learning strategies and reflections from Ireland.
Last week Dr Dr Laura Cahillane held an international seminar on judicial selection procedures as part of an IrishResearch project with Experts from Canada Germany, England, Scotland & Northern Ireland. A report based on the findings will be published in the Autumn with Irish Council for Civil Liberties 🏳️🌈
