Today, at an IDP camp at Masinde Muliro Grounds, UK in Kenya 🇬🇧🇰🇪 Ministry of Health & UNICEF met displaced families affected by the floods.

We’re providing safe water, health promotion services, cash transfers, family tracing & sanitation facilities, and other services for those in the camp.

Last night, with PS Education Dr Beatrice Muganda Inyangala , we launched 🇬🇧 International Science Partnership Fund in Kenya. So the best 🇬🇧 & 🇰🇪 researchers and institutions can work together. And access up to £63mln, for world changing research and projects.

The Kenya Devolution Programme (KDP) – Timiza Ugatuzi funded by UK in Kenya 🇬🇧🇰🇪, supported the Nairobi Rivers Commission (NRC) to conduct a vital validation meeting for its 2023-2027 Strategic Plan. This endeavor aims to refine the roadmap for comprehensive river regeneration.

Thanks to support from UK in Kenya 🇬🇧🇰🇪, UNICEF Kenya and Kenya Red Cross today distributed WASH and food supplies to over 330 households at Kazuku Primary School IDP camp, Garissa County.

This is one of 11 camps hosting families displaced by the ongoing floods in the county.
