If we want an equitable future, we have to engage in civic life today. Last week, Michelle Obama and Barack Obama surprised some high school students during a CPS Dept of Student Voice & Engagement virtual town hall and discussed the importance of staying engaged in our democracy during this crisis.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, I got the chance to talk to the next generation of activists and advocates in the disability rights movement––they're continuing the work of the activists in Crip Camp Film and I couldn't be prouder of them.
