UGA IFC had a successful and socially-distant first day of recruitment today at Ramsey!

Last night IFC passed a Bill requiring Chapters to adhere to Chapter House capacity limits prior to 6:59 p.m., restricting visitation by non-Chapter Members between 7p and 7a, and clarifying “Social Event” definition to enforce capacity limits and health practices. #DawgStrong

(1/3) On Aug 27, IFC and Panhellenic presidents and social chairs met with UHC Exec. Dir. Dr. Garth Russo to discuss Dawg Check, Surveillance testing, the importance of students self-reporting to access University resources, and de-stigmatizing positive test results. #DawgStrong

(2/3) Prior to the meeting with IFC and Panhellenic Presidents, IFC members passed amendments to a previous bill which further define capacity limits and introduce visitation hours to Chapter houses and properties. #DawgStrong

UGA IFC continues to commit to the health and safety of the university community, passing this bill prohibiting tailgating on Chapter house property on Football Game Days.

Last Wednesday, members of the 106th Interfraternity Council participated in diversity, equity and inclusion training with Marlon Gibson. The Council remains committed to becoming more diverse and inclusive and will continue taking steps to do so in the coming year.

Sunday November 22nd, Phi Kappa Psi participated in the backpack project. These men provided over 75 backpacks with essential supplies to the homeless community in Athens. Good work Phi Psi!

Thursday January 29th, Sigma Nus help at ESP. These men help prepared and deliver after school snacks to over 40 kids with special needs.

Last night IFC transitioned from the 106th to the 107th Inter-Fraternity Council. The 107th council is grateful for the opportunity to serve as stewards to the fraternity system and is humbled to represent every fraternity man at the University of Georgia.

The 107th Council had the ability to assist with the City of Hope in their effort of helping to feed the homeless. It is always an amazing privilege to give back to the Athens community. #Philanthropy&Service

Thank you so much to all the Chapters who participated in the UGA IFC Miracle Golf Tournament. The Inter-Fraternity Council was able to raise $2,500 which will all go to benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta!
