Congratulations Vinicius! On October 8th, Vinicius de Souza Izquierdo attended the 11th UF/IFAS Animal Sciences Symposium in Gainesville. He received 2nd place for his poster presentation and received the plaque for the 2024 Harms Graduate Publication Award.

North Florida Livestock Agent's Livestock and Forage Field Day – Oct. 21. Sharing information on grass weed control in pastures at this event were Dr. Brent Sellers and Kevin Korus (Alachua County Extension Ag and Natural Resources Agent). Over 150 attended the event.

In Service Training held On Oct. 22 - Dr. Brent Sellers and Dr. Tenzy Mncube took part in a forage and turfgrass systems in-service training focusing on problematic grass weeds, held for county faculty at the Alachua County Extension office.
