Visited the amazing French Meadow restoration project in USFS-Tahoe National Forest being done w/ partners placerwater Placer County, The Nature Conservancy in California, AmericanRiverConservancy, UC Merced, Center for Ecosystem Climate Solutions, Sierra Nevada Conservancy & more. It takes a partnership to restore a forest!

We show annual Sierra Nevada evapotranspiration scaled from flux-tower data to be a central metric of water-balance change & variability, also key to diagnosing uncertainties in catchment precipitation & discharge.
