With the start of the Fall semester, we are once again seeing an increase in the theft of electric scooters on and near campus.

On 9/11/25 at approximately 1906 hours, a robbery occurred in the City of Berkeley. The incident was reported to UCPD at 1945 hrs.

On September 26th, 2025, an aggravated assault hate crime occurred near UC Berkeley and was reported to UCPD on September 30th, 2025.

On 10/07/25 at approximately 9:40pm, a burglary occurred at the Bear's Lair. The incident was reported to UCPD on 10/09/25 at approximately 12:56pm.

UC Berkeley WarnMe - Critical Alert: AVOID THE AREA of Evans Hall and Moffitt Library until further notice. Police are responding to the scene.

On 10/31/25 at approximately 2154 hours, a sexual battery occurred at Lower Sproul Plaza. The incident was reported to UCPD a short time later.

On November 1st, a non-stranger sexual assault occurred in an on-campus residence hall. The incident was later reported to campus officials.

On 11/08/25, at about 1:45 AM, a stranger sexual assault occurred along the 2300 block of College Ave. BPD is the lead agency for this investigation.

On 11/18/25, 11:53pm, an aggravated assault/kidnapping occurred near Stephens Hall. The incident was reported to UCPD at approximately 12:45am.

UC Berkeley WarnMe Community Advisory: ***Update*** for Case #25-03602 On November 19th, the individual targeted in the previously reported kidnapping near Stephens Hall came forward, reported that there was no crime, and the kidnapping was unfounded. The case has been closed.
