Suicide continues to be an escalating public health challenge, as over 47,000 Americans lose their life to suicide a year. Understanding the urgency to address this issue, the Commission developed Striving for Zero: California’s Strategic Plan for Suicide Prevention.

A comprehensive approach to #suicideprevention relies on many factors, including collaboration across public and private sector partners.
