It was a great White Coat ceremony this afternoon for our NMP Class of 2024 in the Canfor Theatre at the City of Prince George UNBC campus!

Our NMP Class of 2026 welcomed Prince George general surgeon Dr Evan Jost and family medicine physician (& NMP grad!) Dr Andrea Reimer to their session on learning how to suture and inject, as part of their TICE (Transition into Clinical Experiences) course for entry into Year 3.

NMP graduate Dr. Jenn Vandenberg, now a second-year UBC resident doctor, is involved in an exciting @ubcmedicine pilot program. The Rural Immersion program will start this summer at community sites in northern BC.

A beautiful start to another day of learning! NMP Class of 2024 student Aldea and local registered nurse Carrie took in a very pretty sunrise at the Houston Health Centre. Aldea has been in Houston for the past few weeks for a Year 4 rural family medicine elective. #ruralmedicine
