Mrs. Wallace’s 5th grade classes explored the art of one-point perspective. After learning the basics, students brought their creativity to life by designing their own digital masterpieces using Wixie.

On Monday, Tyler Elementary proudly hosted a special celebration to honor our Veterans. We are so grateful to the incredible heroes who joined us and shared this meaningful day with our school community.❤️🤍💙

First grade students created digital nonfiction animal books during their science unit on animal needs. They did an amazing job of bringing their research to life with photographs and interesting facts!

Our Super Tyler Tomcats robotics team did an outstanding job at today’s tournament! They worked hard, showcased the FIRST LEGO League Core Values, and represented Tyler Elementary with pride. We are so proud of their dedication and teamwork, way to go, Tomcats! 🐾🤖

Our Wee Deliver team has been hard at work delivering mail that students have written to their peers and staff! Tyler Elementary even has its own in-house Wee Deliver Post Office, proudly overseen by Mrs. Richards.

The best way to start your day is with a joyful noise! 120 enthusiastic singers are busy rehearsing for our winter concert on December 4th. Can't wait to see you there!

First graders participated in a Thanksgiving Day parade by making balloons and displaying them proudly. We love celebrating traditions together!

Mrs. Krause’s 1st & 2nd graders explored Chinese New Year traditions, then coded Ozobots to visit family members and collect red envelopes—combining culture with hands-on STEM fun! 🧧🤖

Yesterday our kindergarteners welcomed a special visitor, Mr. Sedell from Prince William County Fire & Rescue! As part of our Community Helpers unit, he showed off his gear, explained how firefighters work together, and answered lots of thoughtful questions. Thank you!
