Without doubt one of the most productive scholars, insightful collaborators, and best humans I have ever met. I am so glad our paths crossed. Wishing you the best of luck in the next chapter, Nathan.

Does it feel like you see as much #wildlife in your neighborhood as you do in #RockCreekPark ? Our recent publication uses #DCCatCount data to better understand where animals live outside of protected parks!

Yeah, it's time to stop being polite about it. Decision-makers are complicit if they follow single scientists who are not willing to do the hard work and collect the data to support their thesis. Correlations with cherry-picked data is bush league.

!New research alert! #Monarchbutterfly larval survival is lower when eggs are laid on milkweed in neonicotinoid-treated corn crops compared to control corn crops. What does this mean for monarch butterfly conservation? besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.111…

Publication alert! 📸 We assessed the effects of flash-type on detection probability and individual identification. Results showed that IR and white-flash yield similar detection probabilities for most common urban mammal species, but white-flash is better for individual ID

A few months back, I had the honor of being interviewed for an Audubon Magazine article on the negative impacts of free-roaming cats on birds and other wildlife. They did a great job covering such a complex and contentious topic! Please share! audubon.org/news/why-it-so…
