Last bake of the day, Ciabatta’s, these take longer to prove than other loaves and it’s this that gives them their lovely flavour and big air bubbles.

Annoyingly I forgot about the dough so they did over-prove which is why they haven’t risen much

They still taste great though

Absolutely loving our new artwork from the amazing Lizzie Spikes

This is lovely strong colony that was our best honey producer last year, however it doesn’t like being disturbed on a stormy day

Last week this hive had loads of bees but absolutely no sign of a queen. Same this week so we used a frame with eggs from another hive & placed it in this hive. If there is no queen then the bees will start to make a new one from these eggs.

Who doesn’t like a slo-mo of a Smokers first outing?
