Thanks to funding from SCHTh Gogledd Cymru | North Wales OPCC weve been running a summer of sports activity programme at Ty Calon. A mix of sporting activities over the summer completely free for the local community to attend. Rugby was the first activity and the children all loved it! 🏉

We continue with our summer of sports programme at Ty Calon, thanks to funding from SCHTh Gogledd Cymru | North Wales OPCC . Athletics was on offer, taking inspiration from the Olympics. We had great fun participating in many activities including javelin, long jump, hurdles and shot put!

Today, we held our second multi-sports camp of the summer, where the children participated in football, cricket, tennis, dodgeball and more. It was great to see all the kids getting involved, having fun, learning new skills, and forming new friendships.

Our 3rd multi sport camp of the summer today at Ty Calon. With games of handball, rounders, rugby, dodgeball, football and more . So nice to have many of the children come back each week, lovely to see the friendships they are making.

Today marked the conclusion of our Ty Calon Summer of Sports, where we were fortunate to offer 34 hours of FREE sports activities. We hosted 15 different sporting sessions, with over 150 local children taking part, all made possible by the generous funding from SCHTh Gogledd Cymru | North Wales OPCC

Stars of the future at toddler sports this morning.

It's great to kick off primary school rugby again, starting with our neighbours at Queensferry CP . Preparing Year 3 and 4 students for the Flintshire Tag Rugby Festival next month.

19 children at Minecraft education club! Lovely to see them working together, being creative on todays theme build!

Tonight we launched our EYST- Ethnic Minorities & Youth Support Team Wales Flintshire rugby leaders programme. Really looking forward to seeing these future coaches develop
