5/3 3:57 PM UPDATE --- The emergency pavement repairs have been completed on SH6 near SH90 and the mainlane is in the process of being reopened. As before, the left lane will remain closed for the bridge work that has been ongoing.

BRAZOS COUNTY – Beginning Monday, May 6, 2024, TxDOT’s contractor, Knife River Corporation, will begin installation of the permanent signal mast arms along FM 2818 (Harvey Mitchell Parkway) at the FM 2347 (George Bush Dr), Luther St, and Holleman Dr intersections.

GRIMES COUNTY- SH 6 NB at SH 90 is undergoing emergency repairs. SH6 NB traffic is being directed to use the exit for SH 90, continue on the frontage road through the intersection of SH90/SH105, and reenter the mainlanes once north of SH 90. We appreciate everyone’s patience.

SH 30 is back open in both Grimes and Walker County.
