What a remarkable and ominous paragraph in Matthew Parris's The Times and The Sunday Times column today.

Any society that comes to think of 'human beings as in deficit or surplus to the collective', or of societies as more important than the individuals that make them up, would be on a very slippery…

Such a condescending video

Parents ‘sometimes feel like they have to fight the system’

Always not sometimes, Gillian.

The Tories have dismantled SEND funding over the past 14 and now they want to pat themselves on the back because they’re slinging a few quid at it.

Sickening.

The government imports care workers to look after British families but callously insists they must be separated from their own families. Then they boast about it, underling how the Tory party has ended up in such a twisted place

Dear Halifax
I am fed up with asking you to stop hassling my learning disabled son because you have let some conman use his address to set up a bank account.
Now you are threatening with solicitors.
Can you sort your act out please?

“It is hard to trust the state to help marginalised people to die when they fail to support them to live”.

Important voice in the assisted dying debate, echoing concerns raised by our study of euthanasia for people with learning disabilities rb.gy/ln35xk

Start with your own party Rishi Sunak. Not only do you stir up hatred of difference, you fail to protect the people who need help the most and you leave disabled people to suffer and die.
