💥💥This is wild!!💥💥 Apparently dude built this polygonal walled stone structure in his back yard in ➡️2024⬅️ by himself. He started using just hand tools to carve the stones, then switched to power tools to save time. reddit.com/r/stonemasonry/

Most people who visit the archaeological site at Pisac, Peru never see this because you have to hike down the other side of the mountain, but it's well worth the trouble. Some of the most impressive ruins I've ever seen.

I've heard from different sources the bottom of the walls are anywhere from 3 to 16 feet below the surface...🤔 My guess is 6-9ft...🤷‍♂️

Chincana Project update - Day 79 This excavation in Sacsayhuaman could lead to the tunnels that chronicler Garcilaso de la Vega talks about in his Royal Commentaries, when he recounts: "An underground network of passages [...] composed of a quantity of streets and alleyways

Day 6 of "How deep do the Sacsayhuaman walls go?" Depth of pit #1 is now about 140cm and we still can't see the bottom of the buried block. 1/3

Not Megalithic? Likely altered, buried under tons of concrete or a complete replica 🤷🏻‍♂️ Central & South America sites label these things & will discuss w/& show you what they’re doing like they did at Tikal 🇬🇹 Why is it different in other parts of the world? 🤔 *video ⬇️
