Politicians should not be introducing bills/voting for things they do not understand. It’s embarrassing and a disservice to their constituents. I’ve been told “stay in your lane” before yet politicians can blatantly swerve into other lanes (against oncoming traffic) and it’s ok?

It’s not reasonable to expect politicians to be experts in all fields. But when dealing with scientific/medical issues, maybe seek some guidance from legitimate scientists and accredited medical organizations opposed to going for buzz words and sound bytes???
