The Leaders Team This question links back to the fact that activity doesn’t mean sport

Being active is a way of life, & showing pupils we can learn in active ways & having staff model that not every discussion needs to be at a table

We are Often more creative & think bigger when out in the open

The Leaders Team We touched on this in Q2

This question is influenced by the OSF funding a lot of schools have accessed
In the last 2 years

It has forced schools to be creative with spending money on activities for the whole community & opening their school doors to create these opportunities

Andrew Cowley The Leaders Team It’s about finding balance & ensuring that competition isn’t lost for those who need it

But also not forcing it upon those who enjoy activity in a less competitive environment

Done right, both can be achieved

I do agree that there is too much emphasis on competition though

Katie Rose The Leaders Team I think that simply being able to portray those enjoyable characters of PE & activity is 90% of the battle

If you are giving children an active, positive & safe experience where they want to do more, then you are creating positive active experiences that they will remember!

The Leaders Team This question usually gives 1 of 2 answers

- Positive experiences in school that set them up to have a healthy relationship with activity into adulthood

-A negative experience that has created an unhealthy relationship with sport & movement

Unfortunately the 2nd is more common
