RoJo Aventuras The Switch ver. has more advanced features, layers, tools so that's super helpful. But imo nothing can replace the *resistive* touchscreen of the DS/3DS.
The pen is finicky but works well enough. It uses the headphone jack and translates the sound signal to the stroke pressure.
