The purpose of a family meeting is not to change their mind or sway them to one way or another, but to make sure they truly understand what they are choosing.

I was not yet expecting to have to deal with aging mother issues as my maternal grandparents are still alive and living independently. Moms in hospital for 2nd time in less than 7 days. Any advice from other professionals living far away from parents, other than move? #struggle

My aunt passed away surrounded by family today. Claudia will be sorely missed as she brought a lot of love and laughter - as she enjoyed pulling pranks. She was a woman of strong faith, loved reading, enjoyed working at the library, and homeschooling her grandkids. Rest easy.
