Manatee County Community Paramedics worked with DOHManatee today to vaccinate 100 individuals against COVID-19 at Turning Points. 👏👏👏

Several Manatee County employees and commissioners attended today's Annual Stand Down event at the Manatee County Fairgrounds. Coordinated by Turning Points, Stand Down connects Veterans with amnesty court, Drivers License/ID services, jobs and free medical/dental screenings.


We had a great time at the 25th Anniversary Manatee County Stand Down event hosted by Turning Points this last weekend. We provided our community members with information, resources and backpacks.



This #ThankfulThursday, we appreciate our Service to the Armed Forces volunteers who served vulnerable Veterans at the the 25th Annual Manatee County Stand Down hosted by Turning Points. Several hundred in attendance were met with warm smiles and essential personal care items.


Public Works raised $24,580 for Turning Points at their Annual BBQ fundraiser earlier this month—$3,050 more than the previous year’s event! Turning Points provides services to prevent and reduce homelessness. #GivingTuesday
