Ongoing professional development & funding helps classroom teachers learn new strategies to teach in and thru the arts. Last year we worked with 63 arts orgs & teaching artists to bring engaging & exciting training opps to teachers across CA in a variety of art forms and topics!

We know that when families feel welcomed into the school community, they are more likely to get involved in their child's education. The arts have been a great way to support pandemic recovery and bring different generations together around the joy of creativity!

Music, theater, drawing, and painting are powerful tools for making sense of the world. Recent studies reinforce that the arts should be pulled back toward the center of academic curricula.

The arts play a key role in helping students and teachers express difficult emotions and build community. From murals, to musicals, exhibits, and so much more, the arts create a school culture where students and teachers feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
