This weekend, we explored #ChichenItza . Can't wait for September to witness astronomical precision of the Maya. Twice a year, during the equinoxes, this #pyramid becomes the stage for a celestial spectacle —the shadow of the serpent god Kukulkan slithers down the steps.

I am going to an operetta tomorrow... in Hungarian! 🙂 To be honest, when I was buying the ticket, I thought I was buying it for the opera... 😁 And I was feeling rather smug I got such an affordable ticket!:) I have no idea what my operetta is about & I can't say I care:)

My $7 tickets (I was paying for the building entrance in my mind) don't give me the best view, but they're strategically great as they've close to my exit door escape. :)) I suspect it will come to that escape at some point. I'll enjoy it until then':)

The operetta & my seats turned out even better than expected. I could see 2/3 of the scene!:) My attention span was exactly as expected: I enjoyed the whole 60 minutes of 1st act & then had 2go & explore the streets. But I did better than the average population's 20 sectionds!:)

If I hear another 'embark,' I will start barking... :)
