traveltheworldclub.com/travel/egypt-c… Alexandria is only 2.5 hrs from Cairo on a day's train trip via an early/late train out/back. Here's how to do it easily and see the Sea fort/Citadel, the promenade of the Corniche and the city's Roman ruins, catacombs and amphitheatre.

Amsterdam is great, but have you considered leaving the city for a day trip to the surrounding countryside?

My guide on this part of Amsterdam details the four best towns to see and whether it's even worth making a day trip here!

traveltheworldclub.com/travel/egypt-c… Cairo, Egypt, the largest city in Africa, with the famous River Nile and its new Egyptian Museum. It holds hundreds of artefacts, mummies, Pharaohs statues etc. Get along to the Citadel for views over Cairo and to visit the huge Mohammad Ali Mosque

Doi Inthanon National Park is named after the last king of Chiang Mai who wanted to preserve the forest in the north of the country.

I just started a new video on this beautiful place.

Have you heard of it before?

VeryTastyWorld Yup.. mid-August, up to 25C, but unfortunately very windy. We had a 16h round-trip planned to Ny-Ålesund pretty much w/100% guarantee of whale, walrus and polar bear sightings; & kayaking, hiking, dog sledding, quad biking but all cancelled. Did enjoy our tour to Colesdalen tho.
