If capitalism is so great, why does it completely rely on violently stealing wealth from other countries?

We can't have clean energy because it will destroy the oil industry. We can't have healthcare because it will destroy the health insurance industry. We can't have peace because it will destroy the weapon industry. Capitalism built a system we can't afford to do the right thing.

People say, “I don’t need to read fiction.” You absolutely do. The world is currently being run by rich, antisocial, amoral men who have never opened a book, and you need only look around to see the damage it’s caused. Empathy & curiosity are vanishing because people don’t read.

42% of cancer patients in America deplete their entire life savings within the first 2 years of their diagnosis. We can't help them, but apparently we can bribe everyone in Greenland with a check of up to $100 grand if they secede from Denmark. Because: America first!

Subsidize the cost, privatize the profits. And they scream “socialism” when we ask that our tax dollars fund programs that benefit us, instead of subsidizing giant profitable corporate campaign donors.

The MAGA Right spent this week rationalizing a federal agent executing an American mother on camera as she tried to drive away from him. Meanwhile, this week on the socialist Left, Zohran secured the governor's support for 2 years of universal daycare. Choose wisely.
