You stripped him for *checks notes* fighting prime James Toney, in what should have been a unification classic, you disingenuous, cancerous group of leeches.

There used to be shame and ridicule for guys turning down fights (and big money) in #boxing. Now, there seems to be rationalizing and excusing making for them Boxers can do whatever they please. It's their career/life. The business/sport, however, shouldn't placate these guys,

“Inoue, I’m proud of him. He’s in Japan, in Asia, in our place. His style is like when I was young, 115, 122. He can fight in the welterweight division. If he wants advice, I can give him advice.” Manny Pacquiao compares a younger version of himself to “The Monster” Naoya Inoue.

At only 29 this is a real shock. He could very well have got the Cafu decision (in a fight I thought he just won) so the ability is still there If his heart isn't in it, it's the correct decision though. He's had a really good career and put on some really fun fights.
